How can we thank everyone!!??? Here's a message from our Manager...
Now that everything is nearly packed up and we've had some sleep! We have a lot of Thank you's to get through for the amazing weekend we've had!
It's hard to know where to begin with something like our festival, who to thank first. So in no order, because each and everyone of them us important and without any of their help there wouldn't be a festival!
Let's begin with the venues, who let us come in and takeover their busiest night of the week, so that we can join forces and make a difference by doing something amazing. Then there's the artists, without them you have to agree, it wouldn't be a festival. Not one of our acts receives any payment and some of the less local ones actual come a great distance, at their own expense, to play for your delight. They come together like one big family and we're pleased to see the bonds that are made and future collaborations planned off the back of the festival. Each and every one of them we thank from the bottom of our hearts.
To the sound engineers, who are on their feet setting up from way before the doors open to long after they've closed, in order to make everything sound brilliant. To Adrian of Complete Music and Sound, who we've relied upon time and time again with our run up events and has been there with all the kit we need to keep the show going. To Rob Cant of ACA Acoustics who kept the show alive.
To all our sponsors and donors, Currell Residential, Angel Aim, ACA Acoustics, Shard Design, Meltoma, Complete Music and Sound, Old Street Studios, FX Rentals, Matt Snowball who's kind contributions, help and belief in what we're doing, has kept the wheels turning.
Then there's the team and all the volunteers who have given there time and energy to run the festival. The core team who have given the last 6 months of their lives along with blood, sweat and tears to the festival. Who have worked into the early hours to make sure this year is better than ever for everyone that comes. Which brings it nicely to you, reading this; our audience. Every penny of your ticket and donations on the day, go to Oxfam and to aid then in the fight to stamp out poverty. To each and every one of you, we thank you, because without you, we'd be nothing.
THANK YOU - from all of us at
